We thought every good line at Reimers was set and sent, but here comes Rupesh. He’s sited three new routes and a variation for bolting in the last month. His experience and creativity, plus all that skill and grace, lend much to the park and to climbing in Austin. He also sticks needles good. Here’s what’s cookin’:
1. A direct start to Block Party
2. Heatstroke in the Sex Canyon
3. Nose to the Grime, which sounds like it’s between Dr. Seuss Wall and Shortcake, by that crappy short route and that harder one with the crimpy bulge
4. Slime in the Ice Machine, near the forthcoming Nose to the Grime
Thanks, Rupesh!

5. Morcheeba, the line bisecting Backslider on the Insect Wall, went down last Sat (May 3rd), another stout 5.13 addition to Reimer’s. I got permission to add a bolt to the left of the bulge so it will be possible to climb 4 bolts of Morcheeba, then finish on the much more interesting last 4 bolts of Backslider. Gonna be sick.
PS Thanks for the kind words Ann.
Peace,
Rupesh
